Meet the digital graphic game UX designer
With a deep passion for design and a relentless curiosity for problem-solving, I've been creating user interfaces and experiences for a wide range of mobile games, virtual reality applications, and web apps since earning my Master of Creative Media in 2010.
From virtual production for streaming services to web apps for the marine insurance industry, I've tackled it all with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication.
My weapons of choice are Miro for ideation, Confluence for documentation and Figma for prototyping. I apply the Design Thinking processes to ensure the product is desirable, feasible and viable.
I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty writing front-end code (JavaScript, CSS and HTML) and crafting experiences in Unreal (Blueprints) and Unity (C#). This technical know-how enables me to communicate efficiently with developers.
I'm passionate about applied UX for new media, such as Mixed Reality and Artificial Intelligence, and how this can improve how we learn, work and play.
Books that inspire me are The Language Of New Media, Creativity Inc. and The Design Of Everyday Things.
Outside work and socializing, I love hiking, running, making music and drawing goofy illustrations.
